Application To Obtain Migration/Provisional Certificate

Student who needs provisional certificate may apply online for the same. Students are advised to follow the following for applying the digital provisional certificate.

  1. Fill the online form available on the examination portal of DU web site (http://app.du.ac.in/mig_pro/) for the said purpose.
  2. Upload the soft copy of photograph and scanned signature.
  3. Upload the soft copy of Marksheet or result.
  4. Deposit online non-refundable fee of ₹ 500/- per copy for the issuance of Provisional Certificate at the payment Gateway.
  5. After completion of online process including payment of prescribed fee, candidate will receive the acknowledgement receipt along with a Receipt number. It means the request of candidate for issuance of Provisional Certificate has been provisionally accepted subject to the verification.
  6. In case of non-receipt of the acknowledgement, send a copy of duly filled online application, fee receipt, along with all uploaded documents and email to certificate@exam1.du.ac.in
  7. Provisional certificate will be issued within ten days subject to the verification of the documents submitted.



  1. i) Applicant shall be solely responsible for correctness of the information filled up and veracity of all uploaded documents.
  2. ii) Issuance of Provisional Certificate shall be strictly based on the satisfactory compliance of the conditions prescribed. Mere submission of application and documents does not entitle issuance of same.

Guideline for Migration Certificate

6. The applicant is also required to upload any one of the following original identity proof:

a. Voter ID Card

b. Aadhaar Card

c. Driving Licence

d. PAN Card

e. Passport

7. On submission of the online application form, the applicant is required to take a printout of the

duly filled up online submitted application form and the corresponding fee receipt.

8. Thereafter, the applicant is required to get the printout of the migration form duly certified by the

Principal of the College/Head of the Department/ Director of the Institution where the applicant

has last studied.

9. The applicant is required to submit the duly certified migration form as mentioned above to the

University in hard copy form by hand or by post alongwith the following documents:

a. Self -attested copy of the Original Degree Certificate or

b. Self -attested statement of Marks of final year or

c. Self -attested Provisional Certificate (for the particular year) issued by the University

d. Any one of the Self -attested identity proof as mentioned at serial no. 6 above

e. Self -attested online fee receipt.
